Windows XP Internet Setup
Click on Start, and then Control Panel.
In the Control Panel window, click on "Network and Internet Connections"
Then, click on "Set up or change your Internet Connection"
The Internet Properties window will open. Click the button labeled "Setup"
You should see a screen like shown above. Click next.
Choose "Connect to the Internet" and press next.
Choose "Set up my connection manually" and press next.
Choose "Connect using a dial-up modem" and press next again.
For the name of the ISP, enter in "HOT".
Enter the phone number in this window, If you have Call Waiting add
*70, to disable call waiting.*70 Disables the Call Waiting and the comma (,)
is necessary after the *70 for a 2 second pause to get Dial Tone. Now click next.
Enter your Username and password in the appropriate fields. Remember, the
username ends with now, press next.

We recommend checking the box for "Add a shortcut to this connection to my desktop"
We've completed setting up the connection! Press Finish.

Once connected, you'll see the status icon in the bottom right next to the clock.
This indicates that you're connected. You can double-click this icon to check
your connection speed, or to disconnect.
Once you're connected, you can then open any web browser, such as Internet
Explorer or Netscape Navigator. This should open your Dialup Networking
and begin the modem's connection to the Internet.
